To meet growing energy demand worldwide while helping fight climate change, Møre Logistic AS is focusing on gas. We have been a major global player in liquefied natural gas (LNG) for 9 years and are one of the few industrial companies to have chosen to integrate operations across the entire gas value chain, from production and liquefaction to marketing and distribution to end-customers.

Liquefying natural gas by lowering its temperature to -163°C means that it can be transported on ships, called LNG carriers, and then regasified as near as possible to consumer markets. The flexibility of LNG helps deliver gas to customers all over the world while at the same time securing supply. To further this commitment, we leverage the very best of our technological expertise and experience in developing competitive projects. For example, we are working on floating storage regasification units (FSRUs), flexible access points located as near as possible to consumer markets.

With the acquisition of Engie's upstream LNG operations, Møre Logistic AS has become of the best in LNG with a 10% market share. More than just a producer, our Group now has an LNG portfolio that enables it to guarantee flexibility and a competitive edge to its customers.

With LNG, Møre Logistic AS is committed to providing its customers all over the world with reliable, affordable and cleaner energy.

New LNG Projects Under Development

Following the start-up of the first LNG liquefaction train in December 2017, Møre Logistic AS is pressing ahead with its strategy to develop gas resources. The Group will take part in a second project in Siberia, Arctic 2, and is preparing for the forthcoming production launch of the Ichthys project in Australia, operated by its partner INPEX.
